F.A.Q
How can we save the date?
After our conversation by e-mail (info@pedrobgomesfilms.com) or phone +351 968198154, I will forward you an contract to be signed and a retainer to be paid in order to secure your booking officially. For wedding bookings, the retainer amount is 30% of the total package cost.
Why should we do an engagement session?
I believe that meeting us in person and experiencing my videographic style before your day is very important. These sessions can take place in various places that has some connection with you. My goal is to capture moments in a genuine and natural way and to be able to "break the ice" with couples who don't feel very comfortable in front of the camera.
Do you work outside Portugal?
Yes, I want to continue having weddings outside Portugal.
Why do I need a second shooter?
I fully believe in those who work with me and their presence adds an extra layer of security, allowing for more comprehensive, detailed and creative work, as it brings a different perspective to the same moment. The second shooter is essential for weddings where the couple prepares far away from each other, or for weddings that are considered large, with more than 150 guests.
How long do we have to wait for the films?
The films will be delivered within 5 months after the wedding date, in high definition, via digital delivery and pen and wooden box.
I hate forced poses, is that a problem?
No way!!! My style focuses on capturing natural and candid moments. I try not to interfere too much in the moments so that I can get the result I want. My goal is to deliver a genuine and authentic cinematographic film, which truly reflects the emotions and joy of that day that will never be repeated.
How do payments work?
Payments can be made through bank transfer or in cash, divided into three phases:
• 30% of the total amount to reserve the date (Non-refundable);
• 40% of the total amount up to 1 month before the date;
• 30% of the total amount on the date of work delivery.
Do you charge for travel and accommodation expenses?
Travel expenses at the rate of €0.40/km. For distances exceeding 150km from my area living, accommodation costs apply - the amount and location will be agreed upon with the couple.
What if it's an international wedding?
For international weddings, travel costs include round-trip flights, transportation, meals, accommodation in a hotel and car (to be discussed and agreed upon with the couple).
Should we provide food for the filmmakers?
Yes, it is the clients' responsibility to arrange with the suppliers for the provision of food for the filmmakers at the same time to guests, to ensure no moments of the event coverage are missed and ideally the same guests menu.
What is the short, medium and long film?
The short film ia a summarized version of the best moments of your wedding day, it is also the version that is easy to share with all the guests. It tells the story in an intense and creative way, based on cinematographic structure.
The medium film is deep and produced using the same techniques, but in medium format, where every moment of the day is presented.
The long film brings more intimate and enhanced memories of such a special day. This is a more detailed and chronological version.
Do you deliver all raw footage?
No, the raw footage stays with me for the period established in the contract of 1 year. The curation of the images and sound that I present, plays a fundamental role in my entire process of telling your story. In conclusion, as always, i will do everything to create a unique documentary and cinematographic work, that you will be able to remember for the rest of your lives.
